Leupold Offers New Series With Maximum Light, Minimum Height

0

Two years after introducing the “scope with the scoop,” Leupold has expanded its family of VX-L riflescopes with the introduction of the new Illuminated VX-L series.

The Illuminated VX-Ls feature Leupold’s illumination system with 11 brightness settings from the variable intensity rheostat. The illuminated reticle and Light Optimization Profile give the riflescope unequaled low-light performance while reducing weight and providing a comfortable cheek weld.

The riflescopes are available in 3.5-10x50mm, 4.5-14x50mm, 3.5-10x56mm and 4.5-14x56mm Long Range. Hunters can choose between German #4 Dot and Boone and Crockett illuminated reticle options.

The riflescopes’ key features include:

  • Leupold’s Index Matched Lens System® with blackened lens edges for maximum light transmission, clarity and contrast. Leupold also applies its DiamondCoat™ lens coatings to each VX-L for additional abrasion resistance and to further enhance light transmission.
  • Leupold’s Second Generation waterproofing which utilizes an exclusive argon/krypton gas blend to keep the scope fog proof as well as waterproof.
  • Dual-spring titanium nitride coated stainless steel adjustment system, designed for smooth, precise operation of the internal moving parts while providing exceptional strength and durability. The adjustments are backed by Leupold’s most rugged and durable erector system.
