The Benelli Inertia Driven system rotated the bolt in and out of the barrel lugs. With few components to hide underneath, the forend was slender, the thinnest in the test at 1.57 inches wide.
Benelli provided three screw-in flush-fitting choke tubes and a wrench.
The ventilated rib is stepped and a red-filament bar provides a front sighting element our shooters preferred over the other guns.
Our female testers appreciated how their hands fit in the groove in the top of the forend and the Benelliís light weight.
The angle of the Benelliís stock in relation to the bore line can be dropped or cast to the left or right to improve individual fit. The mounting stud is shown locating the stock downward and cast to the right. Rotating and flipping the plate over provided four different positions the shooter could use.
