Sig Sauer P220R TSS SAO .45 ACP

This could be the best P220 yet. The simplicity of the single-action trigger makes the gun much easier to shoot. Its light weight and simple breakdown make it an easy carry piece. But we felt limited to lower-recoiling ammunition for rapid-fire drills.

The designation TSS stands for two-tone stainless steel. Finished in its natural color, it contrasted with the anodized alloy frame. The slide was machined from bar stock and utilized an internal mounting for the extractor.
With the right-side grip removed, we saw a more complex and obviously more delicate mechanism than found in the 1911 design.
