The overall performance and features of the Benelli earned it high marks. Both the synthetic stock and forearm, and the feature of a selection of choke tubes, are good reasons to check out this bargain firearm.

Although slightly large and hard to handle for our shooters with small hands, the forearm did function as designed with the Benelli, performing very well in our shooting tests.
We liked the synthetic finish of both the stock and receiver and the matte finish of the receiver; all of which will hold up to rugged shooting conditions. Note the action release at the front of the trigger guard (arrow) that provides easy access for right-handed shooters.
The Nova's black polymer stock earned favorable marks from our team. Fairly common dimensions, such as an LOP of 14.25 inches and a drop at comb of 1.75 inches, provided a comfortable shooting set up. Our team handled this shotgun better than the other test guns.
The mid-bead and red-bar front sight of the Benelli provided an excellent sight picture, and the choke tubes provided with the shotgun were considered a big plus for this pump.
