Benelli Supernova 12 Gauge No. 20130

Read Gun Tests Rating and Recommendation

GUN TESTS GRADE: B
The Benelli SuperNova has plenty going for it; the ComforTech system being a revolutionary concept in recoil suppression; a three-tube choke system; and an ergonomic design and polymer coating that lent it the function and feel of an excellent hunting gun. Downsides: An unnecessarily heavy trigger, rudimentary sights, and no specialty turkey choke.

The Benelli SuperNova was the only gun tested with multiple choke tubes. But we thought an Xtra Full tube should have been part of this speciality package. The Benelli SuperNova comes with a three-tube thin-wall choke system, but none are tight enough for turkey loads, in our view.
The Benelli SuperNova's oversized and oddly-shaped trigger guard accommodates gloved fingers easily.
The Benelli SuperNova features a set screw that can be used to adjust the tension in the pump handle, reducing rattle. It also featured a stock that was adjustable for cast and drop.
