The DAK models are sans the decocker lever, but the notch was still there (arrow). Will the DAK eventually become so popular that Sigarms will make separate frame or grips specifically for this model?
The Sig pistol design calls for a hammer striking a slide-mounted firing pin. On the DAK model the hammer was reduced to minimal size and weight. It barely peeked out from the slide except when the trigger was pressed.
