Savage does it again with this compact tactical rifle. It’s accurateand has a great trigger. But the Remington has an edge in actionsmoothness and stock comfort, in our view.

This model came with an enlarged bolt handle, which came in handy when we tried some fast shooting. It can be palmed or gripped with the fingers during shooting and should work well with gloved hands.
Savage’s Accu-Trigger helps the shooter obtain the best accuracy out of this compact rifle. It is fully adjustable; ours came with the trigger pull set at 1.75 pounds.
