The decocker was frame-mounted to the left of the hammer (arrow). This made the gun slimmer and simpler to operate, in our view. The strong hand could easily decock the hammer while holstering the weapon. The hammer could also be thumbed back for first-shot single-action fire.
The camming surface that locked and unlocked the barrel was found at the end of the guide rod instead of being part of the frame. The nylon bushing acted as a shock buffer. Our shooters said this system produced less felt recoil than the Glock design.
