A pleasant handful, the SIG Mosquito was not as accurate as we wanted it to be. Despite near-perfect ergonomics and excellent adjustable sights, the DA and SA trigger pulls were poor, which didn’t help the package. the gun was reliable, though, with the hotter ammunition. the rail beneath the muzzle accepted an optional light or scope mount. hotter ammunition. Takedown and reassembly were easy. That’s an aluminum subframe within the polymer frame. Just one 10-round magazine came with the gun.
The pen points to the slide-spring receiver, which appeared to be a zinc or zinc-alloy casting. It was loose within the frame until the spring was put back in place. The barrel was a steel insert inside an aluminum tube.
