Gun Report

Beretta 85 FS Cheetah .380 ACP

Read Gun Tests Rating and Recommendation

The Beretta .380 was not our first choice as a pure pocket gun, it being much bigger than the other two guns tested. But it did work very well, and might make an ideal gun for those who want one gun for both self protection and occasional plinking.

Getting the .380 Beretta to this stage was incredibly easy. The key is the lever just above the trigger. Getting it back together was a problem, we found. We liked the chromed bore.
The Cheetah easily made these five holes when fired DA only. The high shot was our fault. The point of impact was perfect, we thought. The only problems were that this was not a small gun, and some of us did not like the long DA pull.
