The Trapper’s simple front sight was faster and proved more accurate than the other designs in our test. Mounting was rudimentary but effective.
Crude rear sight elevation was via a stepped support. Fine elevation was adjusted at the rear blade. The top-loading breech block exposed the feeding mechanism with each shot. Drilled and tapped for a scope, a two-piece base would be the best choice.
