The Marlin’s hooded front sight with lined ramp killed glare, but we think it slowed us down in the target-acquisition drills.
The top strap was ideal for adding a scope mount, making way for mounting a tactical scope for rapid target acquisition. The breech block moved underneath and ejected to the right.
