The dustcover of the Baby Eagle ran all the way to the muzzle sculpted with a handsome contour. Note the rails machined on the inside of the frame. The front sight was too low in relation to the rear sight, spoiling proper elevation.
Removing the top end begins with pushing the slide back to line up the dots on the frame and slide. The slide-mounted decocker also disconnected the trigger when left in the downward position. The rear sight was bold and clear, but the front sight needed to be taller.
