Gun Report

Rock River Arms Limited Match .45 ACP

Read Gun Tests Rating and Recommendation

We liked the grips of this gun better. Wood finish, checkering, and overall feel of the wood was superior to the Nowlin’s, in our opinion. Rock River needs to get its name prominently on the gun’s slide, we thought. Workmanship was excellent, and we thought this gun was set up better for gunfighting. It also worked well for bullseye, and had an excellent - and competition legal - trigger pull.

Understated tastefulness, we thought, was evident on the Rock River Arms Limited Match. The arrows point to nicely rounded or broken edges that are superior to sharp edges for combat.
