Gun Report

Rohrbaugh R9S 9mm

Read Gun Tests Rating and Recommendation

Tiny, not any bigger than some .25 Autos, the R9s might be justthe gun for serious undercover use. Recoil was prominent butnot intolerable. The gun was not only small, but also slick towork well out of a pocket. It had a few quirks, and needs thecorrect ammunition to work, but it might be right for you.

To take the Rohrbaugh apart, you had to line up a pin with ahole with one hand, fighting strong spring pressure, and press out the pin with a suitable tool. Reassembly was easy. The innards were amazingly smooth and well finished, and cleanup was extremely easy. We thought the barrel needed more twist.
