Gun Report

Winchester Model 70 Classic Stainless .338 Win. Mag.

Read Gun Tests Rating and Recommendation

About as plain as a post, the Winchester Classic Stainless was a highly functional hunting rifle. Like the Ruger, it needed a recoil pad and trigger work, desperately in this case. The trigger is adjustable, which should make that an easy job. Handling was great with a scope attached, though some huntersmust have iron sights on their hunting rifles. Others think iron sights destroy the clean look of the pure scoped rifle as a hunting tool. Your choice.
