The Smith & Wesson 4566TSW shot very well with Federal 165-grain Hydra-Shok hollowpoints. This combination landed our best single group.
The grip on the 4566TSW was too narrow and slippery despite the sleek appearance. We never really felt in complete control of the gun.
The frame and slide are mated via a stop, much the same as the typical 1911. We'd replace the aluminum rail with steel or tungsten to tame recoil further.
