The decocker (right arrow) is a flush-mounted pushbutton, and the slide release (middle arrow) is long but held close to the frame. The rectangle with the horizontal lines (left arrow) is pulled downward to break down the gun. Note the relief in the frame for the thumb or trigger finger and the contour on the interior of the trigger guard (bottom arrow).
The SW99's rear sight is adjustable for windage. Changes in elevation are handled by one of four quick-change front sights provided with the gun.
