The use of a bull barrel with a larger outer diameter is a good alternative to a bushing lockup. Some shooters find this prefer- able because it adds weight to the front end, assisting in recoil control.
Adding a magazine guide hastened reloading considerably, but the extra quarter-inch made the Tactical Pro II less concealable, in our view.
