The H-S looks just great with its sand-colored stock, Teflon finished metal and that huge scope. If this gun's cost and heft don't deter you, we think the H-S rifle will be a solid performer.

Inletting was excellent. The barrel was fully floated, and the trigger pull was crisp and clean. The stock was "rough" enough that we felt this rifle didn't need checkering.
The magazine loaded like that of a semiauto pistol, each round needing to be pressed down and shoved back. It held four rounds, but the bolt wouldn't close over the fourth.
