Kimber USA Shooting Team Match II .45 ACP

Read Gun Tests Rating and Recommendation

This gun shot accurately and reliably with a variety of ammunition. It was very comfortable to shoot and the fastest to reload. Field stripping and cleaning was not a chore. If you have never owned a 1911-style .45, this is a good place to start.

The Kimber was more comfortable because of the wider grips. Note the vertical notch at the left of the Kimber firing pin. This accommodates the lever that connects the grip safety to the safety system.
The extractor protrudes slightly when the chamber is loaded.
