Despite a couple of minor flaws that could be easily solved, the hard-chromed bolt and over-sized assist knob were two reasons why we would be happy with the Panther on a limited budget.
We found the pinning job on the catch to be sloppy, but the stock is immobilized nonetheless.
This is the larger of the two rear apertures. However, it wasn't as helpful on near targets as we would have liked. The rear face is beveled, but the actual peep hole is not much larger than the smaller aperture intended for longer-distance shots.
