The Kahr P9 lacks the trigger mounted safety found on the Glock and Springfield XD models. The travel of the magazine release button does a poor job of releasing the magazine.
The Kahr P9's recoil spring (front, out of plastic) is nearly as long and thick as the 16-pound spring designed for a fullsize 1911 pistol.
The polymer rails of our P9 showed scuffs and tatters after only moderate use.
