Colt Mustang Pocketlite 380 Auto

GUN TESTS GRADE: A-
This light and tiny autoloader would be a good choice for backup. This particular gun has been carried in the pocket, hammer down on a live round, for a long time. Note the wear on the front strap from long-time riding with keys, coins, etc. It worked perfectly after we oiled it.

Compared to a full-size Colt 1911, the Pocketlite doesnít look like much, but thatís part of its charm and utility. The tiny .380, far left and left, can be hidden in a pocket or suitable holster totally out of sight, for backup use by anyone who totes a bigger gun.
The Firearms International was just a bit larger than the Colt Pocketlite, but 5 ounces heavier, which made a big difference in the pocket.
