The Winchester M70 Classic Stainless bolt has a claw extractor that provides controlled feeding. The Winchester’s bolt body is jeweled. A fixed ejector is located inside the receiver.
The Winchester Model 70 Classic Stainless safety was a three-position lever on the right rear of the bolt.
The floorplate release is a spring-loaded catch at the front of the trigger guard. It was comparatively small but worked well.
