More rounds are a great equalizer in a wheelgun.
The 686 Plus's timed runs of 4.11, 4.67, 3.75, 4.30, and 3.71 seconds were noticeably slower than the Taurus, in part because the fine sights tempted us to try for center hits.
The red insert front sight could be a problem for the color-blind shooter.
The full lug barrel shrouds an abbreviated ejector rod.
