Walther P5 9mm

Read Gun Tests Rating and Recommendation

The $900 MSRP P5 is something special in terms of engineering design and quality. Word is that German military testing required firing in excess of 25,000 rounds to experience a single malfunction. We didn't have one.

The P5's slide will lock back with empty mag in place or by manually pushing up the safety catch alternately controlled by the decocking lever. The decocker/safety is simple. It is always found in the same ready position. Rounds eject to the left. Lockup is achieved with barrel lugs.
The gun's mag release is on the bottom of the grip frame.
The rear sight is windage adjustable with the screw.
