Taurus Model 94

Read Gun Tests Rating and Recommendation

Our recommendation: This gun gets squeezed from both ends. The H&R product is cheaper, and the Smith is better. We would pass.

The Taurus has a more modern mechanism than the H&R.
The Taurus' front sight was too narrow and tall to line up in the rear blade, and the white outline didn't improve the sight picture either, in our opinion.
A floating firing pin with a transfer bar supplies ignition and prevents accidental discharges. The hammer spur is also abbreviated.
