This sight's not going anywhere. It's dovetailed into the cut-off barrel and will stay put. However, we'd like a blade thicker than this one's 0.0030-inch measurement.
The carving in the elephant's tooth adds a lot to the look of this gun.
Howell told us the rounded corners of the loading gate are exactly like they were done on original conversions. Note the flat sides, good fitting and nice case colors. This gun has seen lots of hard use and is still very tight and crisp.
