We had problems with the rifle's feed, thought it was a bit stiff, and didn't much like its accuracy or its bedding work. Although Winchester did a lot of things right, such as the stock design and overall appearance, we'd pass on this one.

Here's one reason we rejected the Winchester Model 70. Many times the second round in the magazine stopped just like this and would go no further. The bullet nose is jammed against the rear of the barrel near the extractor cutout.
