The HP40 features a white three rectangle sighting system. We found this arrangement to be extremely easy to see, and the front sight is nice and thin.
The double-stack magazine shoots out smartly upon release because of a springloaded lever built into the bottom of the magazine.
The plastic grips are comfortable for either hand, since the channel at the top of the grip will accept either the thumb or the trigger finger as needed.
