The Tacticalís hard-anodized aluminum-alloy receiver encloses a bolt that locks into a steel barrel extension. The large bolt handle located on the right side of the receiver offered a good grasping surface. Behind the trigger is a cross-bolt safety (arrow).
This is the view of the Fabarmís pop-up front sight in its popped-up position. One of our concerns was that even though the sighting reference point was protected by metal ears, the entire sight might get caught on some material and be difficult to get free.
We werenít overly impressed with the HK Fabarmís loading sequence. To get the bolt to lock open, the shooter pushed the carrier back into the gun at the arrow until it clicked. itís a smallish spot to press, in our view, and fairly difficult to do under stress.
