Beretta Tikka T3 Lite .300 WSM

Not-quite classic lines and a bulging magazine box are the only points of contention we had with the fine Tikka T3 Lite. Our Nitrex 3-9X brought its total weight up to a very reasonable 7.5 pounds, less than the Ruger without scope. The rifle came with good scope rings, a perfect trigger, light weight, and all the accuracy anyone would need with heavy, serious bullets.

The bolt, its handle, and the trigger were finished in the white; the rest of the rifle was a tasteful muted black. The action was octagonal, and steel. We liked the raised-dot "checkering," and the smooth, efficient bolt.
The three-round box mag was incredibly light, and loaded like a dream. The rounds were inserted by pressing down and sliding them back between the lips of the box. Feeding was perfect.
The arrows point to a pin on the supplied front ring of the Tikka T3, and to a hole in the top of the action which accepts the pin. The pin fits loosely, but when moved to the front, this prevents the scope from kicking forward on recoil. The rear ring didn't have the pin. Note the easy, rugged, allen-headed mounting system, and the notched rail in the top of the action to which the ring clamps.
