The barrels on both Ruger SP101s were properly crowned, as shown by the shape of the SP101's muzzle on the left. This simple finishing touch helped prevent fliers, such as the ones that marred the accuracy of the Heritage Rough Rider.
The supplied rubber grip offered plastic side panels. The retaining screw did not interfere with the hand.
