When firing with two hands, our right-handed shooters had to be careful of their thumb being struck by the decocker lever. Note the relief atop the hammer tang so the shooter can view the loaded-chamber indicator protruding from the rear of the slide.
Wavy lines machined into the top of the slide helped reduce glare. This was one of the classic features that distinguish the PPK from todayís guns. The dot in the front sight was painted red.
