The KP1 was fun to shoot, offering moderate recoil and generally mild manners. The KP1 performed erratically with the 350-grain Hornady FBP bullets, but with Barnes TMZ 250 and Barnes TMZ 290 saboted bullets, it was a better story. Both bullets stayed well within 2-inch groups.
The two-piece camouflage-filmed plastic stock had metal sling eyes screwed in. The buttstock is finished off with a Kick-Eez pad that was well fitted.
