We liked its optional single-action trigger best, but the thumb safeties should be bigger, our team said. If you handle the gun and can reach the thumb safety, then give this the higher score.

The top end of the P-07 was machined from bar-stock steel and featured unique sculpting to save weight. The flat wound recoil spring was long and powerful, demanding extra attention during assembly. The front sight was press-fit from the front of the slide.
The P-07 Duty can operate as a traditional-double-action pistol with ambidextrous decocking levers or as a single-action handgun, in which the shooter has the option of lowering the hammer manually for a double-action first shot. It all depended on which set of levers were mounted into the frame.
