There are many more features on this pistol than most would recognize. There are ambidextrous safeties, slide stops, and magazine buttons, a fully adjustable rear sight, a security lock, an accessory rail, a trigger safety, a lanyard mount, and excellent coarse checkering on the grips and front of the trigger guard that helped us control the gun.

Taurus designers had a heyday on the outside of this potent pistol. There are angles, grooves, notches, and, above all, good traction on the grips. This was a well-thought-out design. Having a similar takedown to the Glock, the 24/7 came apart easily. Putting it back together involved lining up the back of the slide carefully.
This clever little fully adjustable rear sight was a pleasant surprise. The two screws on its right side control elevation and windage. The sight’s movements are limited, but sufficient.
The slide stops have sharp edges and can catch clothing or cut the hands.
