The Kahr CW 40 is a simple mechanism that worked quite well for us. However, we found a few glitches that we did not like. We did like the overall look, function, and feel of the gun, and we would buy it.

Disassembly after testing found what looked like bits of fibrous material in the left raceway of the frame. The plastic appeared to have been scraped from somewhere else in the gun.
There was no recoil-spring restraint, and we had a hard time getting it back into the gun. We suspect weak-handed individuals will not keep this one as clean as would be ideal. The barrel looked like stainless, but was not so called out by Kahr.
Further inspection of the Kahr barrel revealed very sharp corners at the rear of the barrel along its top and side. Two seconds with a file will take care of these, and prevent the owner from bleeding on the gun.
