The deep grooves in the pistol grip provided a sure and steady hold even during rapid-fire testing. Our shoulders appreciated the high-quality recoil pad.
Quick to bring on target and providing good sight alignment, the Ghost Ring sight on the Benelli featured three easy-rouse white dots. They were not quite as visible as the sights on the Stevens, our testers said.
With both the safety and large action release readily accessible on the front of the trigger guard, the test team members (all right handed) thought the Benelli’s system was superior to the other shotguns. Note the button on the bottom of the forearm that allows for the round in the chamber to be extracted without moving another shell up from the magazine — another nice touch we appreciated.
