A little quicker and whippy when bringing it onto a target than the Ringneck, and not producing the high-quality patterns of the hammerless shotgun, we would still recommend the SIACE for those looking to relive the old days.

Although quite a bit lighter than the trigger pulls on the Ringneck, we still found the hammer gun was a little tough to touch off and would recommend adjustment by a qualified gunsmith.
Designed for an English-style shooter, the SIACE forearm on top was comfortable until lengthy shooting sessions heated the barrel. Shooting gloves would be recommended for anyone firing a lot rounds through this double barrel.
A straight-grip stock with no butt plate — just checkered wood — gave us a momentary concern about recoil, but we found the kick from our test loads to be bearable.
