The checkering is not hand cut and looks it. Some testers on our team did not care for the style nor the look.
The stamping on the top of the barrel ensures that the rifle doesn't get lost in the hunting camp gun rack.
The M12 uses a three-position safety; fully forward allows the rifle to be fired.
The 60-degree bolt lift provides ample room between a shooter's fingers and the eyepiece of a scope.
The polymer magazine fits flush with the bottom of the stock. The release button is inset and just forward of the magazine. Operation was smooth and precise.
