Gun Report

Arex Rex Zero 1 CP 9mm Luger, $603

Read Gun Tests Rating and Recommendation

GUN TESTS GRADE: B
The Rex is a new pistol with no flies on it. It performed well during the combat test and turned in credible accuracy. Reliability was faultless. We liked the decocker/slide-lever combination and the functioning ambidextrous safety.

The takedown lever on the Rex makes for the easiest field-stripping of any of the handguns tested.
The Rex’s grips are pebbled for good adhesion. Both our male and or female testers liked the pebbled grip. They felt it allowed them to maintain a steady grip on the gun.
All four handguns had similar iron sights with the three-dot pattern. We noted these inserts are drilled pretty deep.
