PTAC Bullfrog 22 Magnum, $294

Read Gun Tests Rating and Recommendation

Stuff shooting out from the revolver stung our cheeks, even with the revolver held at full extension, and this isnít acceptable. There was also a problem with either pressure or rough chambers because empties stuck in the chambers. It was not wise to continue shooting this firearm, so we stopped.

This is the PTAC Bullfrog revolver safety in operation, shown in the Fire mode.
The Bullfrog is the lightest handgun tested. The PTAC Bullfrog features an aluminum frame. The revolver's greatest design flaw, we felt, was the lack of a front sight.
Each revolver features generous cocking spurs on the hammers that are easy to manipulate.
