GUN TESTS GRADE: B
Although tight patterns at close range can be both good and bad, depending upon the skill level of the shooter, we were impressed with the handling ability of the shotgun. Recoil when shot from the hip was not a problem with any of the test loads.

The black synthetic grip was just a little slick, although there were no handling problems when shooting the various loads. The grip was not as comfortable as either the textured synthetic of the Governor or the "Ribber" grip of the Judge.
As with the pistol grip, the slick factor of the forearm was a minus in our ranking. We did like the grooves cut in the forearm and the rounded design that fit well into the hand.
Note the recessed action-release button, which was a little hard to operate during the firing tests.
