Thompson/Center Arms Begins Shipping ICON Precision Hunter Rifle

ROCHESTER, N.H. – Thompson/Center Arms Company Inc., a Smith & Wesson company, announced that it has begun shipping the new ICON Precision Hunter bolt-action rifles.

The ICON Precision Hunter features the Interlock bedding system along with a match-grade barrel with 5R rifling. It also has a machined receiver attached to the 22-inch fluted barrel with target crown.

Other features of the ICON Precision Hunter include an Integral base for Picatinny-style scope rings, an adjustable 3.5 to 5 pound trigger pull, BOLT-LOK, which allows the user to load and unload the firearm with the safety on, Switch Bolt, which allows the shooter to change out the bolt handle.

The ICON Precision Hunter will be chambered in .22-250, .204, .223, .243 and .308. All models feature a 3+1 detachable magazine with single shot adapter.

Anticipated retail price: $1,149.
