Big-Bore Hunting Revolvers From Smith & Wesson, Taurus

Big-Bore Hunting Revolvers From Smith & Wesson, Taurus

The S&W Model S&W 500 (left) had the largest bore diameter and plenty of power, but less versatility than the 460 and 44 mags. The Taurus Raging Hunter (middle) offers a lot versatility, but limited range. The S&W Performance Center Model 460XVR (right) offers versatility, accuracy, and range. We’d opt for the 460 Magnum for hunting anything on four legs in North America.
