Taylor’s & Company 1858 Remington Conversion 45 Colt

The Remington Conversion is a well made and reliable revolver and was the most accurate tested. The loading is standard single action, but the unloading is more involved than most shooters will enjoy. It seems that a generous sight radius is directly related to accuracy.

We did not seek out a nickel-plated revolver, but the opportunity was there, and the price was fair. We learned that during times of shortage, shops that seldom stock single-action revolvers now have two or three.
