Weaver Expands Tactical Line of Rings and Bases

ONALASKA, Wis. – Weaver® announces a new offering to the tactical world. The new Weaver Tactical Rings (MSRP: $34.49) & Bases (MSRP: $18.49) deliver unparalleled performance to those that demand nothing less when it comes to securing their optics and maintaining zero. Available spring of 2008.

Constructed from lightweight aircraft grade aluminum and featuring the time-tested Weaver cross-lock design, these U.S. made Tactical Rings use six points of contact for the ultimate in security—locking optics down and providing reliable service in the most challenging environments. Available in 1” high matte, 1” extra-high matte and 30mm matte, Weaver Tactical Rings are solid performers that fit a broad range of firearms.

According to Tom Knudtson, Weaver’s Product Line Manager, “these new tactical rings are constructed to the highest specs possible. We understand that in an urban environment law enforcement agencies subject their rings and optics to abuse that’s different from the average outdoorsman. We’ve addressed those special needs by designing our new Tactical Rings to withstand the most grueling situations imaginable.”

As a match to the Tactical Rings, Weaver’s new Tactical Bases are one piece rifle bases. Accommodating all red dots, lasers and optical devices, these new bases are made from lightweight aluminum and accept Weaver cross-lock rings.
