Firing from the benchrest did not show one rifle was particularly more uncomfortable than the other, but the lighter rifles kicked more. The BAR is lighter than either of the two SPSs.
One of the nice things about the BAR is the nearly flush-fit magazine profile when the magazine is inserted in the rifle.
Then, when it’s time to unload, the BAR’s hinged magazine received high marks.
Fit finish and ergonomics were high with the BAR Stalker. The grip texture offered a good handhold on the rifle, and it was faster on follow-up shots.
